Completely forgot I pre-ordered the English translation of Shigeru Mizuki's The Definitive Yokai Field Guide and naturally had to sit down and devour it in one go. A fun and fantastical read filled with Mizuki's illustrations (and a bonus Kitaro comic!), it's a great way to get into his work.

There's great romance novels that are fantasies, and there's great fantasies with romance, and somehow romantasy is neither. It's quite odd.
