Hello friends. Because of the forecasted snowstorm on Feb. 1, we are rescheduling our concert to Sun. Feb. 8, same 2pm time at St. George's Round Church. Please pass the word and stay snug. - Jennifer

From midwinter in Dalarna Sweden Dec. 2025. Strangely too warm for snow, but sunrise was about 9:30am and sunset around 3pm. Rehearsed new tunes with my trio and recorded some video for my friend Stefan Ekedahl's business making Swedish folk instruments.
The last couple of photos from 2 weeks ago, leaving the area around Stockholm and heading to Rättvik. This was Wrangels Slott, a castle owned by a military figure from the 1600s.
More photos from 2 weeks ago, a fascinating day at the storage facility of Stockholm's Scenkonstmuseet (museum of performing arts). Viewed traditional spelpipor plus transverse flutes from the 1800s by Swedish makers Bodell (Stockholm), Lindh (Norrköping), Wahl (Landskrona) and Svensson (Linköping).
11 Dec. sublime Lussibrud performance by Storkyrkans Kammarkör by candlelight in Stockholm cathedral. When lights were up I grabbed a few quick photos of interior, including thrones where Sweden's royals normally would sit, and statue of St. George slaying dragon
Last week was Nobel Prize Week. One of the related festivities was a moving light show on the side of Stockholms Stadhus (city hall) that could be viewed along the walk from the Gamla Stan (oldest part of Stockholm).
