We all known A*azon tends to sell books bellow list prices, but I've recently found them selling books at below WHOLESALE prices. I know this because I own a store. That's fucked up.

If you're a small indie game dev, don't try to be too professional. Professionalism only matters when you've hit the mainstream.

First, you need to appeal to people who mainly play indie games. These people like devs to be human and interesting.

You can attract people for you, not just your game.

We added the ability to create these silly little gifs using your spatial photos (or photos you’ve converted) in CosmiCut.

We’d never get something like this approved by management. This is why it’s awesome to be making software for yourself!

I would really like to see a "declouding" movement where consumers demand any software that doesn't strictly need to be in the cloud, be downloadable to run locally on their own hardware.

2) offers them DRM-free (you get the actual files)
3) is a certified b corp and employee owned
4) doesn't take away your credits (they don't expire)

For text, that makes sense.

For media, because storage space comes at a premium, I’d think you’d rather have the desktop be the source of truth.

We’ve part-way managed that with our design. Your device does need to be on the same network as the server.

It updates with the server when it can or waits until you’re home to sync.

We decided on that to protect folks privacy. The safest way to secure against egress of data is to not expose it.

Took me to a sign in page where they harvested my email. Okay, fine. Then they pushed me to download their app. My “free” book isn’t free at all. It’s totally locked on their platform. 😕

There are still a bunch of rough areas but being able to get books directly on my device without having to mess with iPhone Files app is a game changer. The difference is night and day.

Even with the accessibilityIdentifier on, some of those elements just don’t show up in the tree. 😭
