"People only like Madonna's music because it sounds awesome." - Madonna detractors

I knew we were going to Hunters Station for dinner, so I got estimates and suggestions from among options and then never had to get my phone out while we were there. I don't think CalAI does that?
Screenshot a chat log in which I describe the size and shape of a meal and a chatbot estimates the protein and fiber totals.
Screenshot of the chatbot summarizing my daily food intake in terms of calories, protein, and fiber, then suggesting a yogurt snack to help hit my protein target.
If you've ever given up on tracking macros or any other diet logging because finding the nutrition information of every ingredient in your salad is such PITA, this is a pretty good use of a chatbot.
About two weeks in and it knows what kind of food I probably have available to round things out.
Amsterdam was car-dependent. Amsterdam changed with infrastructure.

Kathy Bates and John Goodman are the first to mind, but I'm gonna be noodling on this.
the most generic bottle ever produced with a label that says "glove oil" in black lower case Calibri-looking font
Thinking I need this might be a bit of a holdover from my family living in Arizona where you need this to keep your glove laces from drying out and cracking. I've used it more on my boots than my gloves.
I hadn't appreciated how fake this looks til I needed a picture of it.
Just pick some up next time you hit the cage.
An adorable woman in a fashionable patterned romper poses behind an e-cargo bike locked to a rack no more than 40ft from the entrance to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center.
I've used baseball glove oil before, but otherwise yeah... Broadway.
If bike parking is requisite: Deadrick is for locals.
US society would be infinitely healthier in a dozen separate ways if car windows went down automatically at 5+ mph.
acrid with car fumes and miserably loud too
This paper says the opposite though?
"...relationships were negative meaning that higher levels of sharrows and trails were correlated with fewer fatalities."

Every time it's an Iowa town I have to check if I've gone through it on a RAGBRAI.

my hall was a lot of Outkast and Weezer right up until my early-rising roommate got very into Strapping Young Lad and Cannibal Corpse.
chat, draft a Performance Improvement Plan for appreciating Joni Mitchell's music.
All magic wands can be finicky.
Screenshot of a hubNashville request that reads "Intersection of Woodland & S 12th St needs scooter corrals in line with curb parking on 12th St, especially in South side of intersection. Corrals would address dual problem of scooters on the sidewalk and vehicles illegally parking encroaching the crosswalks, creating visibility issues."
Picture of S 12th St at Woodland St. There is a striped scooter and bike corral with flexposts, a staple bike rack, and two wheel stops.
Screenshot of a hi Nashville request that reads "This intersection needs leading pedestrian intervals. It is especially bad for pedestrians crossing Woodland Street, with southbound drivers on 11th turning right to go west on Woodland." The city had responded "Request is under review"
Picture of the intersection of Woodland St and Clearview Ave. The pedestrian walk signal to cross Woodland St is green while the traffic signal is still red, showing that the leading pedestrian interval has been added to the signal sequence.
Nashville has this crazy thing in the app store where you can just bang your thumbs on the screen a few times and the city comes out and makes your neighborhood better.
the tennessee titans were dissolved in 2006
CBS turned their news operation into propaganda, kicked Colbert off the air for making too much trouble, and all that just to have Charles Barkley go on the air on one of their most-watched telecasts of the year and say this lmao
if you like raspberry wheat beers, I've got five out of a six pack left. PPU in East.
This might be the equivalent of an underdog tennis team stealing a point in #6 singles, but Jackalope's Lovebird beats the hell out of Bells' Oberon Eclipse.
He'd just won a challenge to see another pitch. His bat leaves the frame so fast.

I wrote some of these down, too. Nothing concrete yet, but we're thinking about taking a family trip this summer.
They've tried to cancel the ATIIP grant multiple times. They might still be appealing the court ruling that said they have to pay us. I wonder if the NEPA review is even happening.
I was wrong--that was basically the timeline when we already had the concrete options. The other email updates I found say NDOT did submit for NEPA in 2024 and then had to add "additional materials" in summer of 2024. From what I can tell, it's been in the feds' hands ever since.
From what I remember, this was the timeline for a paint & plastic version. The federal grant to fund the concrete version wasn't announced until about 14 months ago.
We probably could have paint and plastic by now if that's what we'd asked for.
We're singing the wrong Irving Berlin song in the 7th inning stretch.
