I don’t think you listened to the interview. If you did you would know that’s not what he is saying in (a) why he refused to join Band Aid 10 years ago, (b) the spins off positive stories about Africa e.g. year of return in Ghana, & (c) about changing the lyrics of the Band Aid song.

Maybe putting it differently will help in understanding what the issue is. Does the Band Aid Christmas song and lyrics perpetuate negative perception of Africa as not a good place or does it portray Africa as great place that is great for investment ?
