Vee: "Hey do you wanna play a round on Anuses"
My hypothetical Meteos playing partner: "What"
Vee, holding up my DS and pointing at the planet Anasaze: "You know. Anuses"

Woooooo I beat the straight path difficulty 4 on Meteos, with no continues!!
Asya Shubina.........
That's- that's a lot of Adrenalines
I think soft punishes are better than hard counters anyways
Queen punishes not having much draw BUT with enough big expensive cards you can still get by. Test Subject punishes playing lots of skills BUT if you kill it fast enough you can play them anyways
The numbers in this game are tuned with the assumption that you can scale out of control, and it's just a matter of how long you can survive until then
And this fight just stops ANY scaling dead in its tracks. You just kinda die
Iiiii am not a fan of the new Doormaker fight in StS2
In concept I really love the idea of a boss that actually makes you look at your "solved" deck and go "okay, this doesn't work, how can I keep deckbuilding"
In practice, how the heck do you build to counter THIS. There's no way
"You, the human reading this"
Well good thing I'm not human so that doesn't apply to vee!
[getting destroyed by the E4 psychic guy] Ah. That's why
Maybe I need to go all in and make an all poison team. If gym leaders can get away with it why not vee
Midway through my Pokemon Platinum run and I just realized both Roserade and Toxicroak are poison... This has absolutely no impact on the game but I still don't like it, there's something so aesthetically unsatisfying about it
I get excited whenever a puzzle game shows vee a level that makes vee go "ooooh I get to solve this with Python!!"
Holy shit. The creature
Maybe I could keep going if the music was good. I can excuse a LOT if the music's good
I don't wanna be too hard on it, cause this feels more like a problem with vee than with the game
I'm just kinda falling asleep
Anyways I'm playing Vernal Edge
You ever play a game where you're kinda having fun but in a very... "nothing" way? Like yep, this is a videogame ass videogame alright, it feels good to control, it's satisfying to complete Task and receive Reward, and also it's doing absolutely nothing remarkable for vee at all
Don't we all!!
The characters don't even have unique boss themes! Come on, this is Touhou!!
The first boss was Utsuho and I thought the boss music sounded VAGUELY like Utsuho's theme but it turns out, no? That's just the theme for every boss?
I think maybe the biggest reason I'm having trouble getting myself to keep playing Artificial Dream in Arcadia is that it's missing some... sauce. Something. I'm pretty sure it's the music. I really love the game mechanically and visually but man, the music is kinda dire, and that's important to vee
Yeah if I don't spot a match with the first color that I'm looking at then I'm Done
And that's very likely to happen if I get a lot of garbage at once! That's why I think it could have been toned down a little
I kinda wish SOME of the garbage blocks were colored so it wasn't so punishing
Defense feels REALLY hard in Meteos!!
When you get a bunch of garbage you have to drop your combo on purpose and wait for it to turn into normal blocks and while that happens, MORE blocks are piling on, and by the time you can do anything, you have five columns flashing
Correct
Also that is some very cute thumbnail art...
God I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets UNREASONABLY loud when there's a friend around
*boots up my flashcart with the intent of playing Pokemon*
*sees Meteos*
... I could go for some Meteos.
There are two wolves inside of you
Meteos is so weird, I find level 2 mission mode to be about as hard as level 4 straight path
