#agsky I’ve been a bit remiss here. To make up a video of the boys with AgLeader. TurnPath & GPS steering

#agsky Using AgLeader SmartPath to autosteer the first lap is a winner
##agsky Another 63t of Lentils loaded for export
X is one of those weird things. The only reason I’m still on it is to see how bad it’s gotten and how deranged many people are.
I’ve been watching the drone shit on X. The US is loosing it. This is even more berserk than the UFO hysteria of the 1960’s🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪👍
#agsky @agleaderAP Now that #harvest24 is complete it's time to start analysing the data. Overlaying Yield Map with @cropscan Protein Data looking for anomalies and wastage in a Decile 1 rainfall year. Particularly looking for any signs of excess N application. @KalimarAg
The user interface is a lot nicer to use. Hopefully enough people that enjoy interesting discussions and civility will join and it will become what Twitter was before it descended into X👍
#agsky 400ha of wheat left.
And of course Standard Deviation analysis of a yield map is the best and easiest way to map the soil type.😉👍
We’re chasing a hard one. Fe deficiency in grey calcareous soils. First step is to map the soils, then do VR trials. Fe binds tightly in the soil so I expect it will take a few years to buffer before results start to show.
lol, Yep using SMS ment I didn’t have to go back and re-learn all that horrible math I’d forgotten because I thought I’d never need it. The background from my school days just makes it easier to understand and use.
Using high quality products like AgLeader SMS makes it easy, but I must admit it didn’t even exist back in my school days in the 1960’s and 70’s😂😂😂
Doing some Standard Deviation Analysis on Yield Maps correlating yields to soil type in preparation for some VR maps and micro nutrient trials in 2025. @AgLeaderTech
Yield Maps for the win👍 #agsky
How far can we go? Adding a Raven ECU to our Air Cart to control 5 granular products alongside 2 CNHI Mueller ECU’s controlling 3 Liquid products. 8 Channels total. We have high confidence that our @AgLeaderTech InCommand 1200 will do the job. They haven’t let us down yet.👍 #agsky
Then long term benefits of paying close attention to micro nutrient depletion are starting to show. The longer we’ve had a paddock in our program the better the results. We’d like to have a few decile 7 to 9 years now too see just how far we can go😉👍
@agleader.bsky.social @kalimarag.bsky.social #agsky After a delay due to rain, harvest operations have resumed. Keeping an eye on operations remotely via AgFiniti. We can only harvest wheat when moisture is under 13.5%
So far Falling Numbers testing is over 300 so no downgrades 🤞🤞
I find it particularly accurate 👍😉
It will be interesting to see how China responds to his announced 10% Tariff on Chinese goods.
#agsky US farmers are complaining about the cost of John Deere tractors now. They’re going to be screaming if this goes through. 🫣
Being at dog, it’s probably, “Do you think Sam will notice if I fart?”😂😂😂
It’s not the simple fixes that annoys me as much as firmware updates. Often done by a poorly trained mechanic who doesn’t really care and then they charge again to “diagnose” and fix.
#agsky @KalimarAg Harvest 2024.
That’s nothing new. Very common and easy to spot. You can regularly see Snowtown windfarm on the Adelaide radar.
18 months ago we purchased a Magnum 340. It was about $90k cheaper than the JD. The JD got closer when the dealer took a lot of options off that made the tractors similar, but he knew we were awake to that trick. Many get caught by dealers down specing to meet price.
#agsky I think most South Australian farmers would agree with this in 2024
Deere aren’t the only one.
I appreciate your comment about the Trimble mass flow sensor, because before I work out how to do it with AgLeader I was wondering if I’d have to buy another Trimble screen. 😖👍
This is where I give Agleader credit. When we were stuck 2 weeks before seeding. I asked my local Agleader dealer, I told him if it works I'd buy it. The rep bought one out and plugged it in. We told him that that screen could never leave the farm🤙 #agsky
