A little known fact: legislators *can’t* write legislation. I tried. Only the Legislative Service Bureau (LSB) can. When they were taking too long to write a bill I wanted introduced, I wrote my own. The Clerk of the House told me I couldn’t do that, and would not accept it as an introduced bill.
