I can't agree with that

Aside from the terrible last track on Around the World, I like both those albums a lot!
Beggars Banquet Let It Bleed Sticky Fingers Exile on Main Street
In my obit, I asserted that Dirty Mind -> Controversy -> 1999 -> Purple Rain constituted the best consecutive string of albums in pop music history. The next morning, Newsweek's editor-in-chief left this post-it note on my desk.
hey, nice Pavement poster!
Ten years ago, I teared up at Hale & Hearty Soups, then rushed back to Newsweek's office to frantically write an obituary I never wanted to write. I thought Prince had many years and hundreds of songs and dozens of puzzling left turns left.
Publication date: April 21, 2016
It is a little eerie in retrospect that you published this the same day Prince died
Simply one of the most chaotic starts to an individual's Wikipedia page you can find
When Trent became an acclaimed film composer, I was slightly bummed that it pulled him away from prioritizing NIN. But Nine Inch Noize is cool because it kinda bridges those two distinct halves of his public persona.
The Nine Inch Noize album rips so hard, it makes me want to revisit Year Zero, an album I haven't really listened to since high school.
I like to imagine boomers hearing Nirvana for the first time in 1991 and immediately tweeting "Omg this guy was born in 1967, I feel soooo old."
I get the sense that the Hollywood celebrities who are evangelizing about AI are ones who primarily see themselves as businesspeople first and artists second.

I mocked a bunch of '70s one-hit wonders, so now I'll post one that I truly love
whenever people assume I am excited about a movie or show based on something I loved when I was 8 I just think about how weird it would’ve been if my dad got all pumped up about a Howdy Doody movie in 1986
Tom Waits lent his voice to a dog food commercial in 1981 and it is the grittiest, noir-iest dog food commercial you could possibly imagine.
this one comes immediately to mind
Wouldn’t hate it if Adam Ant joined him onstage either.
"Sadly, American Canto isn’t just boring, it’s almost incomprehensible. I’m not even kidding, it’s mostly about various birds."
I understand these guys were a big deal at one point
Nigel!
A regrettable oversight
It's impossible to post something more perfect than Hotlegs.
Post a perfect album from the '70s that isn't Sweathog, Anita Bryant, Hotlegs, Debby Boone, The Road Apples, Hot Butter, Rick Dees and His Cast of Idiots, Carl Douglas, Sailcat, Exile, Shaun Cassidy, Blue Swede, Mary MacGregor, Leo Sayer, Maureen McGovern, or Starland Vocal Band.
Insanely jealous that you got to see them on that tour
I think this footage is 1995
I've given it a lot of thought and I think NIN should start playing "Physical (You're So)" in their setlists again.
Enuff Z’nuff finally are given their deserved place in the pantheon
