Despite the smiling and ducking from the cover, on page 1 Bolt receives a blow from that spiked fist -- belonging to the armored villain Rampage -- that sends him flying, bouncing across the pavement like a skipped stone, and smashing into a wall
Bolt recovers and offers a return blow to Rampage. The two fight back and forth across an urban construction zone
Later, Bolt sits in a waiting area inside the Capes corporate offices, watching a video of the Guardians of the Globe on his phone. While he waits, the superhero Bulldog -- Bolt's co-worker at Capes -- comes up to chat

Final order cut off for the Dick Tracy Valentine's Day Special is this coming Monday (01/20/25). @thesteveorlando.bsky.social wrote a great script that allowed me to draw Tracy and his best gal, Tess in a classic comic strip style. @markenglert.bsky.social crushed it on colors. In stores Feb. 12th!
