I took a yarn design class back in April and made my own blending board. This my first yarn design project outside if the samples we made for the class.

A triangle shaped lace shawl in a purple, blue, and teal gradient.
A close up of the arrow shaped lace pattern of the shawl and scalloped lace edge.
I finally finished the shawl!
Finally plying the yarn I have been working on. Tried doing it with out a tensioned lazy kate and it just wasn't working. Now that I have one though it is so much easier.
Making my first 3 ply yarn. Just one more bobbin to fill before I can start plying.
It grows!
Starting on a shawl made with my handspun yarn.
New yarn all skeined up.
A out of context quote from the DM of one of my role playing groups.
"Next encounter is gonna take place at an Otter Orphanage. I’m gonna set a timer and see how fast it takes for some war crimes to be committed."
Square plate featuring the sun with giant black holes scattered inside it.
Round plate featuring Earth which appears to fade away at the center.
Nothing new to show at the moment so how about something old:
A couple of my first plates, very special to me. Inspired by the text game "And the Sun Went Out." People believed the Sun was dying but scientists were the heroes who discovered it was not the Sun but something going on with Earth.
So, this is what I wanted to say, had I been quicker to get to the mic. I wanted to talk about fighting censorship and resisting respectability politics. Fighting for trans people means fighting for ALL trans people, even the ones that don't look good on a poster.

A spool full of spun yarn that changes color from purple to blue to teal.
A spoil of yarn still attached to a spinning wheel that is in the process of being filled with newly spun yarn. It is not very full.
My current spinning project is targhee from Sweet Georgia yarns.
