Happy to see you happy with god. I‘d rather stick to a secular worldview based on science. I‘ve witnessed many gross misbehaviors from christians and members from other religions to know that a strong ethical education beats the bible and other religious texts by a tenfold.
So telling me what is a sin and what is not is pretty arbitrary. I don‘t have anything against religions or people of belief. But I don‘t like getting told what I am allowed to do by someone because some random text from the middle ages stated so.
The sheer number of religions and gods all over the world is enough to fill a whole library with stories. These stories have been told and changed for generations until someone has written them down, and also copying and translating them the next generations didn‘t make the original any favors.
