The only way this gets funnier/weirder is if Susan Collins gets endorsed by John Fetterman. Or maybe, somehow, Hitler.
Wait, now I’m confused, if Graham Platner is another Joe Manchin, does that mean he endorses Susan Collins as well?
The last decade has been the Democrats clinging onto the rulebook going "but a dog can't play basketball!" while a dog fucking dunks on us over and over
My brother in Christ what do you think a "level playing field" is
"I don't get it, Kamala Harris didn't have to modify her campaign at all to appeal to Liz Cheney voters, why are you so upset about it"
You're SO FUCKING CLOSE man
Maybe you can help me understand something, are you twelve
I really, truly do not think that this is the takeaway. Like, I'm sure that there are some voters who didn't vote for that reason, but I'm begging people to please stop attributing literally everything about her loss to her identity.
I know it's a high bar but it's really been all downhill from WM40 hasn't it
Suddenly remembered Wrestlemania was 48 hours ago. I don't mean I forgot to watch it; I mean I literally did watch it and forgot about it already
Millions of people who otherwise wouldn't give it a glance will be playing Vampire Crawlers this week. The same for Kiln, a game about making clay pots fight each other. You simply can't sell that to 35 million people. The problem is not that these games are on Game Pass. The problem is CoD was.
No one is "taught" to not buy games. Game Pass is a godsend for non-major publishers and players like me by lowering the sense of financial risk of discovering tons of great new games. That's EXACTLY what Game Pass SHOULD do, not simply be a way to pay for AAA games in installments.
To once again paraphrase Stephanie Sterling, all of this could have been avoided if Microsoft just stuck with merely taking everyone's money instead of trying to take ALL of everyone's money.
So now Microsoft, which clearly lost a HUGE amount of their subscriber base when they nearly doubled the price of Game Pass to subsidize Call of Duty, has-not-so-subtly declared whoops, we're removing Call of Duty and decreasing the annual price by about what you'd pay for a Call of Duty game.
A small child could have explained how to fix this from the getgo--*just don't include Call of Duty with Game Pass, everyone who likes CoD will still pay for it separately*--but this is Business™️so Microsoft was obligated to lose millions of dollars and the 20-year head of their company first
Folks you are not going to BELIEVE this you might want to sit down

“Oh, you don’t believe in voting? That pales in effectiveness to my strategy, posting this meme.”
Your boos mean nothing to me. I’ve seen what makes you vote.
Apparently we’ll do it dead too
Notably it was a grotesque spectacle that the press should not have attended even when Obama was President

I know people give me shit for seemingly blaming every bad thing conservatives do on Democrats, but what the fuck do you want me to say here, please explain how their strategy of doing less than nothing about the Supreme Court for my entire adult life has worked in any way whatsoever
Imagine if Democrats had started and maintained a vocal campaign chastising the Supreme Court and calling for reform like ten or so years ago instead of their clearly effective strategy of twiddling their thumbs and hoping two specific people die at the exact right time
Like this simply isn’t going to work, there is no successful long-term strategy, if the primary communications hub for the Democratic Party is a place where people see the progressive, anti-establishment sea change of the 2026 elections and conclude “the people yearn for Pete Buttigieg”
I understand why people left Twitter. I left Twitter, no one should stay on Twitter. But I have become deeply worried about Bluesky becoming the new Mecca of American liberalism because the extent to which it has disconnected itself from the reality of both local and national politics is staggering.
The most common instigator of a fight with any of my liberal friends over the last two years has been me earnestly asking them to tell me what their favorite policy or platform position was of Harris’s during the 2024 campaign. Even Biden bothered to do the “$2000 checks for everyone” lie.
Again, considering we are in our third decade of receiving catastrophic proof that guilt tripping people into voting Democrat simply doesn’t work, it’s very hard to read stuff like this and conclude it’s anything other than projection.
As I keep saying, what matters to liberals isn’t winning elections, it’s not feeling guilt for losing them. And despite how we now know—to the most horrendous of outcomes—that you will never scold people into voting Democrat, what truly matters is Booker’s here to make them feel better.
A genocide that, mind you, the actual involvement the left should have in the discourse is how they were completely right about it. It’s inevitable public perception. The only 10% of an issue happening in Democratic politics right now is the number of Democrats who share Booker‘s position on Israel.
It’s like a gross, sociopathic version of the “oh so now you can’t make plans with friends” meme. Voters weren’t disengaged with Harriss over how much they thought the minimum wage should be or how many days of paid leave new parents should get. It was about a fucking GENOCIDE.
