So frustrated that I cannot fully enjoy Spurs and Chelsea being shit

realised my original post may have been misread.
When Merino got injured we had come off of two 0-0 draws and a home defeat to United. I think his absence is a bit overstated
think both are pretty overrated and are symbolic of the shift in our transfer policy over the last two years
we'd gone 3 PL games without a win before Merino got injured
I'll be amazed if we sign another striker without selling one of Gyokeres/Havertz.
My fear is that our only attacking signing will be Gordon and we will all be having the same conversations in 12 months time.
what I will say is that people don't remember that in January we had a lot of players available and the manager picked a front three of Madueke, Gyokeres and Martinelli because he wanted to play Saka in a dead rubber at Inter and because he decided Eze couldn't play again.
yeah agreed, which really means we cannot actually improve all that much
we have to sell
Saw somebody say Havertz only looked better than Gyökeres because Arsenal played differently than they usually do.
They're so close.
urgh
Cannot wait for us to beat them to ensure that Spurs stay up.
It'll round up a horror season.
Donald Trump, what do you have for me?
I like him and I think he adds a lot of the ball progression that Zubimendi lacks, I just worry that Arteta will just look for another physical midfielder.
it's fine though, because there's always next year. Or the year after. Or ten years time.

so annoying that this has happened at a point where we've bottled the league
yeah we are stuck with the likes of him, Martinelli etc so we will sell our promising talent to buy players like Gordon. I feel like we are in a pretty big mess.
rancid
I'd sell
Spot on with Gabriel and Zubimendi
Yeah i don't know how anyone has the energy to praise Gyokeres.
Dreadful footballer.
Very late night, cannot sleep ramble here but as of right now, I don't think I could ever forgive this team if we don't win the league this season.
I'm almost angry at them for being good enough to challenge and make me invested in them. I AM angry at them for not making lighter work of it.
Happy for you if you are still optimistic but I’ve just watched us tank, at exactly the wrong time, for the 3rd time in 4 seasons. We were never really in it last season.
It’s fucking painful, and it’s the major flaw in everything that Arteta has done.
No idea how he fixes it.
by dropping another £200m
Yeah same with me.
I wouldn't pass to Gyokeres even if my life depended on it
I hold Arteta responsible for certain injuries, and he's not leaving so I don't see that changing.
Too many players overplayed and overused.
Haven't felt this disillusioned with the club since the Super League nonsense
Felt like that was the argument last season too.
Plus we had loads fit for January and we choked.
If Eze doesn't start LW on Saturday I might not bother watching
Those injuries won't let up unfortunately. Next year it'll be Rice. There will always be something
