The other day I posted a comment in a language I’m learning, and someone replied saying my message sounded AI-generated. Fortunately they were very nice when I explained it’s not my native language, but it’s sad that this has become people’s knee jerk reaction to humans being imperfect.

Exactly, that’s why all these people saying “but the cartridges are expensive now, so this is cheap!” make no sense. You can’t compare a physical collector’s item to a digital copy. They’re completely different things.

They don’t have to make a menu. They can just sell it as a bundle. You pay one price and get a separate app for each language. It’s that simple.

With $60 you can buy a brand new triple A game, or a ROM of a 22-year-old game in three languages.

A pretty ridiculous decision honestly. I’m not expecting to be able to change languages mid-game but would it really have been so hard for them to include all the languages in one purchase? Especially at that price, they could have at least tried to sweeten the deal a bit.

Hi, I have a technical question about the Mac release of Old Skies. GOG says it will require macOS 12, but Steam says it will only require 10.13. Can you confirm which is correct? Or is there some reason why they would be different?

Same, I’ve only bought one game so far this year and it’s an indie game. There’s something I kind of miss about being a kid and only getting a couple of games a year. Yes there were a lot of games I never got to experience, but I think I appreciated the ones I had more.
