Rotbraunes Eichhörnchen, mit vornehmlich dunklem Fell, hockt auf den Hinterläufen auf dem Ausläufer eines Baumstammes, und zeigt seinen weißen Bauch. Der bildseitig linke Vorderlauf ist am Stamm aufgesetzt, der bildseitig rechte Vorderlauf hängt nach unten. Das Eichhörnchen schaut aus dem Bild heraus. Es trägt lange Ohrpinsel. Im Hintergrund unscharfes Grün.
