Pages 9 and 10 of "Dildo Samurai" is done and as I'm working on page 11, I realized that I have made a huge mistake. I've not been using distance blur on backgrounds this whole time. I will start in Issue 3 but I'm mad because it would have made my comic look so much better... Live and learn.
Fun fact: Claude Code is built on Bun js, which 3 weeks ago was compromised by North Korean hackers. Not saying that they have anything to do with what's currently happening on Bluesky and the outages but using Claude Code (whose source code got leaked) could possibly cause security risks.

Pages 5-8 are finished! While I was working on this, I was watching the live action OnePiece, which inspired a change in story. So instead of rushing out of Casade Rosa, we'll be here for a bit. I'm trying to also rethink how I design sets so I don't have the issue I had before.
This is Shiho, she's the main character for my comic, Legend of the Dildo Samurai. She's in a post-apocalyptic world where she roams around with a sex-toy sword fighting injustices and seeking revenge against the people who destroyed her village.

I thought about making a normal model, hide everything but his cock, scale it and then kind move it over the giant's waist. Might have seams, never actually got around to test it but with smart use of shadows, might be able to get away with it.

This is great because this weakens AI support from corporations. They aren't going to back something they can't own. Now if we can keep poisoning their data collections and turn as much of the art space as possible into deadly spaces for AI scrapper bots, we can win against AI!
This is why folks really need to start using those image poison programs like Nightshade/Glaze so you can protect your art. We can't stop these pieces of shit from stealing but we can make it so they choke on our fruits. Too many times I'm seeing people just straight up steal from us in our faces.

What also takes time is putting all the images through Nightshade so I can poison it for AI machines. I've started seeing 3D render art being stolen and remade into awful AI images so even we aren't safe from the machines.
Sorry for the silence. So with Daz3d, when you use a scene too much (adding props, changing poses, new cameras, etc) it causes the whole thing to lag when rendering so I had to rebuild my scene from pages 2-4 over again. Page 5 is finished and 6 is starting rendering so enjoy this sneak peak.
I personally can't stand Reddit because it's always the worst basement trolls that push to be mods in artists' spaces. This battle is one of dozens I have seen played out over there, especially in NSFW areas. Purely garbage behavior from folks.

Yep, it's still the same scene from the 4 pages in Issue 2 I posted. The first few panels were just 30-45 minutes but page 5 is 2 panels out of 3 and both those panels took more time than all 4 pages of the previous panels combined.
In the time it has taken one panel for my comic to render, I have read all the chapters of Nevermore on Webtoons and an episode of Fallout... And it's still only 61% done. I think I am going to have to redo my set because the render times keep increasing.
I keep seeing them on TikTok and I am so jealous of you now. Lol
