New post building on this idea, if you are feeling blue as a developer, build your own stuff. It won't fix everything but it can fix some things. vickiboykis.com/2026/03/04/a...
This is post is spot on
“When code gets cheap operational excellence wins. Anyone can build a greenfield demo, but it takes engineering to run a service”
“People don't buy software, they hire a service”
“Good software is invisible”

I have Gas Town derangement syndrome and spent the last few weeks writing thousands of words on agent orchestration patterns; how they shift our bottlenecks and force us to ask whether and when we should stop looking at code

when kubernetes was barely known & the community of folks around it was super excited to be working on it, no one in that community insulted or belittled other people for not using or trusting it.
they were just like “ok cool, you do you”

A diagram made by Claude where there is overlapping text, too small and faint text, and arrows in the wrong place.
Claude's response after taking a screenshot of the diagram and analysing it. It correctly identifies that annotations are "floating awkwardly between the sessions". That the arrow is "barely visible". That there is no visual connection between two parts of the diagram that should be connected. And that some of the connections look cluttered.
Figuring out a workflow to make Claude better at creating diagrams and illustrated explanations.
By default it is pretty crap - see this example. Labels overlap. Arrows in the wrong place. Text too small.
But it's also decent at identifying what's wrong once it takes a screenshot.
just started knitting🧶 this👇 ... name a better #atari character to feature on a scarf!?!🤣
Looking for data (science, engineering, AI) newsletters? Here is a curated list I created last year about my favourite newsletters:
Part I: ramikrispin.substack.com/p/data-newsl...
Part II: ramikrispin.substack.com/p/data-newsl...
Working on the 3rd part, any recommendations are welcome!
Took me almost a month but I finally wrote up a longform essay on this: bsky.app/profile/did:...

One great thing about LLMs that resonates with me came from @kelseyhightower.com: that to enable MCPs, devs are finally willing to write great docs and accurate API specs, because without them the LLMs simply don't work. Just wish we always did this for other humans.

Me dejo algo @inspide.com?
