I took a long break from Malazan after finishing Toll The Hounds which is one of the best Fantasy books I’ve read.
I’ll soon begin Dust Of Dreams. Maybe next month.

One good day after 99 bad days.

First day on Mirtazapine/Remeron and although there’s a little brain fog, i feel good. If this is consistent, i can see myself on this longterm. I’m able to focus and actually do things that need doing, and there’s very little anxiety.

I got taken off Fluoxetine/Prozac a few days ago and there was lots of anxiety. I couldn’t concentrate or do anything. I had tremors, sweaty palms, headaches, and a lot more.

I saw this coming tbh😂😅

I’m done with House of Chains and this might be the fastest I’ve read a Malazan book.
Starting Midnight Tides today, lets goo.

The narrator switch was really upsetting but i eventually adapted. Initially i hated Karsa, but with the story progression & character development, i suddenly couldn’t get enough. Also i almost quit reading bc i misunderstood the teblor definition of ‘children’.😅

Less than 200 pages into House of Chains, and Karsa has to have passed out about 10 times now.

150 pages in and I’m loving House Of Chains despite how difficult it was to get into with the new characters & setting. The audiobook also didn’t help much as i didn’t like the narrator as much as i did that of MOI, but im gradually getting engrossed.
