I loved all the fan-submitted art on #Svengoolie this week, including the painting in the Basil Gogos style. I did mine because I thought combining Basil and Sven were two great tastes that went great together! I certainly don't begrudge anyone else from putting their spin on the idea. Great work!

It troubles me somewhat that there isn't more of a difference between the words the vegetarian and humanitarian.

Oh, I'm 100% sure it's odd that that word had somehow missed me until recently. I'm just curious how common the experiences for other people for there to be some random word that they learn rather late in the game and are baffled how it hadn't come up sooner.

Anyone else have words that go from being new to being used so commonly you wonder how you weren't exposed to them years ago?

A remark is a doodle or simple sketch done alongside an autograph when signing a book. Not an uncommon term, especially for an artist like me who signs autographs regularly.

But I swear I don't remember ever hearing the term before about a year ago and now I hear it all the time.

There's currently a commercial for Aldi running which starts with a woman with a shopping cart saying "Dinners for the week!" But it sounds to me for all the world like she is saying "Dinner is for the weak!"
