A relative of mine had a Phillips system N1500, maybe? When I was a kid in the 80's we had "inherited" a couple of cassettes and I was obsessed with them. Single spindle, stacked reels, diagonal tape across the interior. Never seen anything like it and because of your post I've deep-dived! :)

Never thought I'd be using ice-grips to fetch the bin in, but here we are. Bought for use in Norway 14 months ago, first used in Whitley Bay!
