Funniest detail to me re: Thom Yorke's weird relationship to Israel is that it's the first place Creep really took off so Israel kinda launched Radiohead's career. Israeli music fans could not get enough of a song that asks "what the hell am I doing here" and answers with "I don't belong here."

I talked about it on tumblr but tbh the lack of news about palestine on this website makes me not want to post here. I rarely post anywhere tbf but something about this site being pushed as progressive while often lacking the presense of pro-palestinian activism makes this place feel soulless
From experience I feel like its a general taboo in a lot of chats. It seems like it anyway. But im also just bad at knowing what to say in chats. Recently I went to a chat of a guy who came into my own chat a few weeks ago and I think they got weirded out when I mentioned that as they forgot me lol
I doubt anyone believes me but if ive ever said anything like this in a chat its because I don't think about that stuff. I can't self promo to save my life.
Constantly forgetting acting like a human being isn't allowed in twitch chat so if a streamer asks what you did that day you can't truthfully answer you streamed because thats "self promo" and you cant converse about the topic at all no matter how normal it'd be in any other regular convo context.

Every once and awhile you find a game thats story is engaging and you want to see more from but the combat system is a test of endurance. I now have 2 of these things I've yet to conquer. DAO tests my patience LESS than Tales of Zesteria though. I do not know if anything will ever surpass that one.
So either you wait too long to pause again to have one of your party members use a potion and they get destroyed by long range arrows, or spend too much time in pause while getting no real hits on the enemy and the fight takes 400 years.
Choosing rogue also means my character is not super helpful
The only way to play DAO is to pause to target and choose spells or attacks to target enemies better, right? But the characters don't attack until you unpause. So its like playing hybridly with none of the actual advantages of turn based or the convenient lack of wait that true realtime gets you.
I'll be honest, I may still holding out hope I get used to it but I am teetering on the edge of "this combat system is ass" value judgements about DAO. Every day I am ever more thankful BG3 is turn based. Thank fuck.
I was sick but I feel better now, so saturday stream should be a-go.

I love turn based RPGs. Real time RPG combat is not my jam, and I'm glad BG3 is turn based. DAO is testing me. Story good tho.
A little political posting, as a treat. I don't post like this all the time but I also won't limit my topics.
I believe the NDP would under current leadership actually enact policies they say they would now but it is real difficult to combat that bad of a fuck up from past leadership. Going back in time to slap bob rae. Btw this was only a provincial win. They've never had a Federal majority.
Big issue here is when our equivalent to labour won majority rule in 1990 they announced they could not actually make good on promises and instead implemented austerity policies so no older ppl will ever vote for them again. Learning about this sucked. Seems like what the UK is doing now too.
Just wanted to say here I'm not conservative and I also don't fuck with liberal respectability do nothing politics. Liberal parties need to reform and shift left or we are all fucked forever.
I think at this point you don't have to scatch them anymore to see them for who they truly are.
