Two very different situations yes but Furina genuinely could not have cared less even tho those two legit might’ve tried to kill each other had nobody stepped in

Like, Arles fighting her kids as part of her duty while she definitely feels it emotionally in the back of her mind and then we have Furina yelling at the ppl she’s volunteered to direct for about how she dgaf that they want to kill each other because the show must go on

One of the places off hand I see them as the most different is as leaders, I feel that Arle goes harsh on others as a trauma response and doesn’t fully have it in her heart of hearts while Furina is fr fr the way she is for the love of the game

When I imagine Arfr getting really close w each other I imagine them being able to hang out together while in these states of profound emptiness, knowing that they aren’t alone as the other is dealing w the same thing

They’re oh so very close to being the same person in different fonts

I feel like some ppl tend to twist this emptiness they feel so that it’s different from each other but what makes it so good is it’s that same emptiness of driving people away and keeping up a mask. Same pain different people. Mann I just love them sm
