Why is it easier to get shit done when I imagine myself as someone who cosplays responsible adulthood? It’s like a role I assume, but it works, I swear.

The way I did it: Stormlight 1+2, Edgedancer, Warbreaker, Stormlight 3, Dawnshard, Stormlight 4. I am happy with my choices. I did feel that WB enhanced my experience! But my husband never read Warbreaker and he’s still obsessed with Stormlight Archive so, it’s not that important overall.

I don’t enjoy cooking that much when I’m alone, but my husband is out for dinner and instead of doing Girl Dinner I actually cooked! Very pleased with myself.

Totally agree. If I were to devise a metric on it, it would be related to process and continuous improvement. Being 100% compliant feels impossible, the success is in working towards the ideal. Laundry is done! Here’s a tip I once heard: don’t spend too much time on planning your to-do lists. It can actually trick your brain in giving off dopamine for *making the list* instead of *doing the task*. This is probably why I get stuck in limbo after planning out my day.
