The Women's Timber Corps, fondly referred to as the "Lumberjills" were formed in WW2 in Britain as part of the drive to "free up men from jobs at home". With their sisters in the Land Army, women were taken to rural areas do some hard graft! They were absolutely essential in providing timber.

For sure! I'll admit that I did notice the lack of armoured bridges, but if you go super detailed in one area but not another, oddness ensues. If the rules got deep into the specific weapons boats carried, it'd be weird not to include individual fire arcs, etc... and now you have a different game.

Yes, that seems reasonable! C4 did seem a bit too chonky for an MGB... (And I do like T&Ts level of abstraction overall - it's still granular enough to add flavour, but I appreciate how quick playing and simple the rules are.)

Thanks! I was also wondering if it'd be reasonable to make some upgunned Fairmile D MGBs C3 with Over-Gunned, but would that be excessive? (I'd ideally make them slightly better armed than their MTB sisters and most later S-boote but not as strong as the SGBs, but I'm not sure that space exists.)

Just received my copy of the rules, and they look great! One quick query; one of the scenarios suggests S100 type boats, but they don't seem to be in the unit profiles - are they S29 types or have I missed something?
