I have plenty of criticism of the democratic party, but I do not believe the two parties are "wings of the same bird" - I have two teenage daughters and I want them to grow up in a world where they have rights - I don't see how allowing Donald Trump to be president helped their future in any way
Both parties have a bad position on Israel, but one party is better on literally every other issue, so my logical decision is to not vote or vote 3rd party and allow Donald J Trump to be president - that is certainly the popular thinking at a Russian troll farm.
If people want to change the democratic party and move it to the left - go for it - get involved and vote in the primaries - but refusing to vote for the best option in the general election only gives power to the fascist - wake up people - make the best vote each time
