I rewatched The Ballad Of Wallis Island again today (made me cry again) and nobody is going to persuade me that McGwyer Mortimer aren’t a fictional Slow Club

At the very least Key and Badsen must be big Slow Club fans

Donald Trump launches attack on Rob Reiner, found stabbed to death, as director's son is arrested Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, were found dead in their home in the Brentwood neighbourhood in Los Angeles on Sunday.

I've just seen Trump's reaction to the murder of Rob Reiner and, although I shouldn't be surprised, the man is a grade-A piece of shit. I realise even typing this even stops me from going to the US again, but hey ho.

The Running Man was the mystery screening at The Light tonight! It’s usually a low budget indie film so it was a big surprise. I really enjoyed it, just a very fun, stylish action thriller with a big dose of satire. Edgar Wright is very good at this filmmaking lark

A Captcha image of Emma Stone with the phrase “select any squares that may contain Aliens” nodding to her role in the film Bugonia (where she may or may not play an alien)

The Easter egg on Letterboxd when you review Bugonia is amazing

It was @selfesteem.music-social.com’s homecoming gig last night and it was a triumph. Not a fan of arena gigs but this was pretty special

Watched the first episode of Sally Wainwright's Riot Women last night and it's absolutely outstanding. Rosalie Craig (who I've seen in many stage productions over the years) absolutely burns the screen in every scene she's in (and what an introductory scene).

"The Nine Inch Nails", "Got a light?", the nuclear explosion scene, that ending, everything about it is perfect and is Lynch's finest moment in a career that was full of them

a black and white photo of a gas station with a group of people standing in front of it . Alt: a black and white photo of a gas station with a group of people standing in front of it . This is a scene from episode 8 of Twin Peaks The Return, and frankly, a text description doesn't really do it justice.

Going to watch episode 7 and, more importantly, EPISODE 8 (aka the Best Episode of TV EVER) of Twin Peaks The Return at the cinema tonight and I'm very excited about it.

Just watched ep3 of Twin Peaks The Return at the cinema and still find it absolutely delightful that Showtime gave David Lynch a load of money and told him to make the absolutely weirdest shit he could think of.

Poster for Honey Don’t, a film by Ethan Coen. The poster shows actress Margaret Qualley in white shirt and brown trousers, turning around to face the camera, with a gun in her hand. Aubrey Plaza and Chris Evans (not that one) are also featured as is a blue car on a white background
Don’t bother seeing the film, it is shite.

May have watched the worst film of 2025 this afternoon. What a stinker
