Cool! I will keep these in mind! I found a cute starter kit on Etsy that goes over the basic stitches. Hoping to get started this week.
I grabbed a cute looking one from Etsy. Hoping to start next week!
I read house across the lake this month too. Favorite Sager book so far!
I have a goal this year to be on my phone/in front of a screen less. To help keep my hands busy and distracted me from my tech addiction, I'm planning on taking up embroidery/cross stitching. Any tips?

Here I am on BlueSky, trying to get away from Meta.
I'm a former teacher turned IT/Cyber nerd. I'm also a musician who is fed up with content creation. Hoping BlueSky is a little less toxic.

I write my grandma via snail mail several times a year (and she replies). And a few years ago, I had a couple international pen pals. I like physical mail.
So far, just Las Vegas and Portland, OR. But I'll probably end up squeezing a few other places in. I traveled a lot in 2024 so I'm totally fine with more staycations this year
Same!
