I have always leaned towards not wanting to change my name even if I marry again, but if anyone ever wanted to convince me, congrats this gov has done it. I will NEVER change my name. Fun fact: Im divorced but never changed my name because I lived abroad & didn't want to fill out the paperwork.

Also our family left because it was that or starve due to mass governmental failure, as was the case with most people.

It is not really a choice whether to have kids if we are supposed to end up doing the same things, just for other people's kids. And on top of that, are usually still looked down on as less-than anyway.

I have been seeing some weird content online. It basically boils down to women with kids thinking they are better for doing all this work, yet also demanding random childless women to help them. I understand needing paid leave, etc., but if the workload is still unbearable, it is not our fault.

Someone needs to hijack the crowds brought out by No Kings marches and organize them to actually do something. The current leadership is not cutting it. Without concrete goals and escalation, we will be in the same situation for at least the next 3 years.

I would like to know why these events continue to have no concrete demands or plans of action, despite continued criticism that they dont? I have participated B4, but it accomplishes little more than solidarity without clear goals and leadership on how to make those demands a reality. Performative

These events need CONCRETE DEMANDS, otherwise it is performative and pointless. I have participated before, but these events have failed to evolve into anything meaningful. The only vague demand is to "abolish ICE" but how does this event make that happen?

I would caution against using the term "religious psychosis." Very few religious extremists are medically psychotic. Illness cant be helped. The word you are looking for is "cult member." It isnt a mental illness but a choice influenced by group think. They may be misled, but they are responsible.

GOP wanted Talarico to win because they know how to defeat him. They are used to running against a moderate Christian white guy. Texans are being manipulated way too easily. Crockett would have energized voters more and I doubt Talarico will win in November.

I am tired of living in a world determined by naysayers. If "they cant, we cant" is your reason for voting, you aren't envisioning a better world. Which is why we will end up with the same hellscape we have now.

I frankly dont care about a difference of opinion. I need people to understand that if 1 racist guy says that and 5 people say "well she cant win" and then vote for the white guy, the 5 PEOPLE are the reason she lost and basing their votes on a racist. Therefore it is racist.
