Moana 2 was animated in Vancouver as an episodic tv show for Disney+, but they decided to retool it into a movie.

It was outsourced for a fraction of the price of a normal Disney film, and will still make a bajillion dollars, but none of the Vancouver animators will likely see a dime of residuals.
