- Tries to convince you to not have the procedure because you are too young, don't have enough kids, aren't married
- Tries to have your partner approve the procedure

While those of us with dangly bits do not face nearly the same obstacles to permanent sterilization as those with uteruses, there are still a large number of doctors who will not perform vasectomies on everyone.

While it is true that there is a reversal procedure, it is expensive and results are not guaranteed. If you think you may want to use those sperm in the future, a vasectomy is probably not the correct option right now.

Getting a vasectomy is a relatively easy, safe, and inexpensive procedure.

Here is what to expect (based on my own experience)
