The CIA World Factbook has closed!? I used this site quite a bit since college. It was a great and trustworthy and free resource for things like maps, flags, and information about the world. This is really unfortunate they decided that it was no longer important. 😑

Working from home today and I tossed my hat onto my bed from my desk in the bedroom. What are the chances I’ll ever hit this landing again. I didn’t notice until an hour later too which was anticlimactic.

There should be a service to screen sarcastic jokes so that I don’t have to triple guess my own genius in the company wide Teams chat.
I’m pretty sure it’s good. But I’m also pretty sure half the office doesn’t know how dry my humor can be.
This reminds me of when we were looking for a van. I wanted to know if it could fit a full sheet of plywood in the back. But all the car places measure the storage space of vans in units of volume. I found myself, more than once, yelling, “but what’s the length and width?”
Inside of a Lenovo computer with the HD and RAM of a MacBook Pro.
So not all too impressive, maybe. It’s the first time I Frankensteined a computer (other than a battery swap b/t 2 ancient yet free MacBook Pros). But, I swapped the ram & HD of a Lenovo IdeaCentre w/ the previously mentioned MacBook Pro.
Popped some Linux on that & named it TychoStation.
I just deleted all of my tweets and deactivated my account. That was a lot of garbage... makes me really think about what I want to post here.
Is it all worth it? Are these platforms necessary? Will this place become taken over by the dregs? Sold to one? Will I delete this twenty years from now?
