Now, you might say, "What about all the knowledge we'd lose if we push all the abusive geniuses out of academia?!"
But I'd counter and say, "Well, what about the knowledge we've already lost from the budding scholars whose careers they've derailed with their abuse?"
No politician, no academic, no movement organizer, no comedian-there is no role that the person is so irreplaceable that we must overlook sexual assault. Every one of them is replaceable. Good fucking riddance.

The whole “false allegations ruin lives” narrative has always upset me so much because it is sexual violence that ruins far more lives, but people care far more about the 2 to 5 percent of false accusations than we do about the 1 in 4 women and the 1 in 6 children who experience sexual violence.
