She’s just a woman whose intentions were Good.
Oh no she should not have been misunderstood.

Does the world need to cooperate in order to clamp down on tax-dodging by the super-rich?
Don’t Look Up - a potential catastrophic disaster is identified but the public pays little attention. A billionaire social media CEO gets involved with undue influence over the U.S. President & they see an opportunity to obtain some rare earth minerals from the situation.
Work of fiction, of course
Donald Trump did indeed have a stubby Sharpie, but it seems his stationery budget didn’t allow him to have a stapler.
Zia Yusuf on #bbcqt says that Nigel Farage is offering massive tax cuts and no Prime Minister has offered that before.
Two words.
Liz Truss.
That fantasy didn’t age well.
Simon Clarke on #bbcqt opposes our membership of the European Convention of Human Rights.
Which human rights does he disagree with?
Does this mean that in order to maintain balance @peterstefanovic.bsky.social the BBC will balance any truth that they broadcast with an equal volume of lies, in order for their output to be acceptable to those following the Farage message?
Like leader, like followers.
So it turns out that Ukraine does have some cards.
Let’s not bicker and argue about who killed who, eh?

While I do not support fare-dodging, I wonder how many fare-dodges would have to be prevented to save as much money as the £45 million tax on a housing development that @robertjenrickmp.bsky.social helped a Tory donor to avoid? #theguardian
About 300,000 deaths attributed to Musk’s cuts so far …
Nigel Farage backs campaigns with no plan to fulfil them #bbcqt and #Brexit is the obvious example which should have meant that nobody believed him in future.
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
An excellent resource from @stayeuropean.bsky.social
It deals with all the objections that I have heard to Rejoining, with solid facts.

Also available in book form, - this is the book that I gave you
@terryreintke.bsky.social
but it’s great to have the material as a website.
After they “move fast and break things”, occasionally they belatedly try to piece some of the broken bits together again. Then, in the shambles, they speak as if they are in some fantasy where they have repaired the situation.
That’s ferny @caitlindeangelis.bsky.social
Q. When you stop preventing measles, what can you expect will increase?
A. (hint in article)
Pope Francis, by his funeral, brings together Zelenskyy and Trump - shortly after the spontaneous applause for Zelenskyy in St Peter’s Square.
It needed to be said (sung) - by the brilliant @augustalees.bsky.social youtube.com/shorts/jaVat...
Good analogy
This isn’t even thoughtcrime. It’s ‘potential-future-thought’- crime.
Very informative analysis
How likely is this scenario?
Trump’s billionaire friends buy up stocks whose value has crashed.
Trump rolls back some of the tariffs.
Markets recover
Trumps friends (and Trump) $$$$$$
The penguin was not wearing a suit and so can not expect any special treatment.
I see that Caroline Canute, the White House spokesperson, has been telling the stock market not to fall.
I see that Starmer has by careful diplomacy achieved the same result re USA tariffs as was negotiated by the penguins of the Heard and Macdonald islands.
So all these tariffs, according to Trump, will stop other countries exporting to USA and mean manufacturing switches to USA - and will also generate $6 trillion revenue for USA.
Er, Mr Trump - if they stop exporting to USA (the result you predict) then they won’t be paying the tariffs.
Musk is buying votes. That is corrupt and appalling. Don’t be Musked in Wisconsin.
I see that in France convicted felons are sentenced to imprisonment before being elected to be President - not the other way round.
What the USA has done this week (for Russia) on Ukraine
