This has the potential to become the funniest thing that's ever happened.

Ossoff: "Never before have we seen so little effort to hide so much corruption."
That's the message.
Every faction of the anti-Trump coalition, however divided, can rally around one thing:
Accountability, investigation, and when convicted, jail time.
Make this the focus.
The ancient Romans had a word for it: “ambitio,” the shameless pursuit of approval at the cost of one's integrity. Tom Palmer distinguishes that corrosive hunger for power from ambition rooted in merit, character, and the creation of genuine value.

God bless every member of the American Red Cross who puts their safety on the line every day to serve those in need.
Picture unrelated.
A good talk, I thought, with @andycraig.bsky.social.

Trump last week: "Praise Allah"
Yesterday: "I hate the Pope"
Today: *posts image depicting him as Christ*
Your friendly reminder that the separation of church and state isn't simply to protect the state.
It's to protect the church from the corrupting influence of power.
i will vote for any candidate who offers up this slogan
Finally, Hungary we will be sovereign, not a vassal of Russia
Be hopeful.
Orban's defeat will weaken right wing authoritarians around the globe.
It's truly an impressive achievement to get routed this hard.
Days like today have me wondering if Viktor Orban said “thank you.”
The opposition was so strong that it looks like Tisza is on track to have a super majority capable of amending the Constitution.
Big changes are coming to Hungary.
Congratulations to Fidesz.
Today, one more link in the global authoritarian network has been shattered.
2026 will be an inflection point for the entire world.
Mark my words.
In about a week, Americas are going to wake up in the morning and feel what this chart actually means.
Before the war, the Strait of Hormuz was open.
We bombed Iran, achieved none of our "stated objectives" on uranium enrichment, lost lives and military assets, and now ships permanently require Iranian authorization to pass through.
Normal passage has not resumed.
Trump is declaring total victory.
Every day, Trump humiliates America, weakens us, alienates us from our friends, and makes the world our children will grow up in exponentially more dangerous.
"Two weeks."
It's TACO Tuesday again.
Every day I'm reminded how lucky we are that the most dangerous man in America is, fundamentally, an incompetent child. Incapable of long-term planning, thinking, or leadership.
For now, that's our best hope of surviving this moment.
Why are we talking about the 25th Amendment?
In no reality should we lay the responsibility here on JD Vance to act. He's a sycophant who's complicit. He'll do nothing.
Congress needs to reconvene and vote to impeach and convict.
This is their Constitutional obligation.
"If the family is so critical to liberal thought, why have liberals neglected it? Partly it’s because social conservatives have so aggressively claimed the family for their own; it seems that some liberals may assume any serious engagement concedes ground to traditionalism. This is a mistake."
It only takes a handful of Republicans in the House and Senate to end this nightmare for everyone.
Call me crazy, but an American-funded extermination of an entire civilization strikes me as worse than the existence of gender-neutral bathrooms.
Artemis II is 170K+ miles from Earth today.
But yesterday, Pilot Victor Glover was asked if he had any thoughts leading up to Easter.
His response is worth listening to.
And his advice is worth internalizing in advance of a difficult year ahead.
It's Easter Sunday.
Here's what the President has to say this morning.
I'm not sure about you, but I think the collapse of US hegemony, a global price spike and recession, and a new ground war in the Middle East are far worse than drag queens reading books at the library.
It reminded me of America before this moment. A snapshot of America at its best.
And it reminded me that despite the moral ugliness we wade through every day, we're still that country underneath it all.
We're just being led by people who want us to forget it.

No Trump. No Vance. No Mike Johnson. No demagogues calling the astronauts DEI hires or blaming the other party for something.
Just people being patriotic, happy, together, inspired. Gathered to watch America do something historic yet again.

PBS coverage of Artemis II. Young families from across the country gathered to watch a launch. An American flag next to the Artemis flag on the pad. A diverse crew of experts from across the world who spent their lives preparing for this.

Something last night reminded me what the old America felt like.

I feel no need to unpack last night's speech.
I'm glad most people are waking up to the fact that we have a deranged madman, an incompetent president surrounded by sycophants, running the world order into the ground.
But saying so would be a repeat of everything liberals have been saying for years
Even during periods of great chaos, frustration, and uncertainty, Americans can still do incredible things.
