I was very lucky. From the age of 11 I went to a non-Catholic Grammar School so had to meet with the curate for tuition every Saturday. It was always a young guy with modern ideas, very unlike the ancient Irish priests who ruled the parish. I’m now ‘lapsed’ but without the bitterness of many.

Candy, thank you for posting this. Not only is it a beautiful picture but looking through the comments I quickly noticed all of them were positive. That gives me hope for the future. And if I missed an odd nasty comment, I’m glad, it would have spoiled the moment.

One slight problem: Trump has just looked at the list and just ticked every box. And judging Trump from past behaviour he would probably pass a lie detector test for every one.
