IF ONLY THE PETROCHEMICALS INDUSTRY HAD ACTUALLY WORKED ON FIGURING OUT HOW TO RECYCLE PLASTIC INSTEAD OF LYING TO US FOR DECADES!

Trump threats, U.S. troop build-up raise specter of battle for Hormuz Israelis said securing the strait for energy shipments could become the war’s main goal now that regime change and ending Iran’s ability to obtain a nuclear weapon seem out of reach.

The “main goal” of the Iran War may have changed, reports Washington Post: “Israeli officials said securing the [Strait of Hormuz] for energy shipments could become the war’s main goal now that regime change and ending Iran’s ability to obtain a nuclear weapon seem out of reach.”

Cool fact, sand can be made up entirely of biogenic material (shell pieces, spines, exoskeletons). Just hard bits of tiny animals (sometimes fossilised!). It's just body parts of dead animals.

I remain absolutely confused that people *ever* thought screwing with the abyssal sea floor would "get better" after mining.

I have a question 🤚: how will they cool it? Spacecraft are notoriously difficult to cool so I can only imagine this thing must end up with a radiative cooling assembly the size of a small dyson sphere

More 'science' by the same Canadian team: Nabipour et al. 2025 (DOI: 10.1016/j.ijbiomac.2025.140027). pubpeer.com/publications...
Plenty more anomalies and issues flagged by various others on PubPeer; too much to blame it on a student or undergrad.

On Saturday at 11:00 am, a 2 km-long, 25 m-high, and 150-200 m in width section detached off the Ismoil Somoni Glacier (Tajikistan) and slid down the gorge! 🧊🌊

It looks like you're going trough a really rough time right now, and that's not strange given how shit the world is, but give yourself some time to find the people you need to find. The journey is hard but I promise you it is worth it.
