Note: My Col. Frank L. Smith (1867-1950) talk at the Dwight Historical Society, 119 W. Main Street, Dwight, IL on Monday, April 20, 2026 is not about baseball. But TIL that he was at Feller's no-hitter in 1940. Reminder: The event is free, but donations are always encouraged. dwighthistory.org

Any photos to share?

Back to my annual quest to get Joy Division/New Order into the hall of fame. 🎶
That’s essentially every George Cutshaw card.
A few highlights from today's SABR Day held jointly with Milwaukee's Ken Keltner chapter. We had three great presentations. ⚾️
🤣🤣🤣
Is this California? No, it’s Kenosha.
We celebrated another great SABR Day with the Chicago and Milwaukee chapters today. I even (finally) grabbed a Brat Stop t-shirt. Bring on baseball season. ⚾
