So you're basically comparing a specific vendor's price (which has a temporary discount. It's not usually $20 there) and doesn't contain the $40 DLC or the (probably $10, not known) Tarnished Edition DLC, to the official reference price.

I hope you understand that this isn't how it works.

It's quite obvious that this is an exception for this specific vendor (3rd party? Trustworthy? Never heard of them). Like yeah, you'll probably find Switch 2 Game Key Cards for cheaper than the official pricing. What's the point? We're talking about official pricing here.

Multiple things can be true. Nintendo can f something up, they can also do things right. Same for Sony and FromSoftware.

And 4 years isn't a lot.
The game launched at $60, and it has a $40 DLC, so you're already getting a 20% age/bundle discount. Expecting a 50% discount for 4 years is a bit much imo.

Plus, it's not like the game's small or lacks content.

Why? It's a full game (that's already worth more than the vast majority of full price titles), plus a DLC that's also basically its own game.

TotK's gameplay is actually not that good, because so much of it is just walking around a repetitive world (esp. the Depths) with copy pasted content. The additions like Ultrahand don't do enough to carry a game of that scale, and they're horribly flawed (e.g. disappearing when entering a shrine).

Though I do admit it's funny to consistently put out D, E and F-tier stuff, never finish it, and then work on something you'd personally consider very good.

Such is life when you're inconsistent xd

The good thing about making music is that you can cater to your tastes.

Even if something is heavily flawed, you can see the strengths, notice what patterns you like in other people's stuff, and actually notice improvements much more easily.

I often 'like' posts I agree with, but as I rarely make posts or reply, I was afraid that it wasn't clear what kind of person I am.

Even now, what I said is very shallow, but an important basis.

Feel free to ask for details, most couldn't be described in a single post.

My rule of thumb is:
Is it logical? Is it empathetical? Does it reduce the amount of suffering in the world, or only benefit some while harming others?

I know it's very strange all of the sudden, but I need that to feel comfortable in the future. I likely won't change my usual (non)posting habits.
