Saddened, but unsurprised to hear of Oakwood's closing. Fond memories of going there on a school trip when I was younger and lapping Megafobia.

I guess people would rather run then wait 5 minutes than come later and wait 75. Nothing worse than an hour plus wait for a mid ride 😂

Love seeing "More to Experience" as a tagline still being used, even on a press release announcing multiple ride closures 😂 Stay Carny Pleasure Beach 😛

RIP Oktoberfest, always a fun time to be at Alton Towers.

As much as I'm excited for an extended Scarefest, it's sad to lose another event, especially after losing Mardi Gras & Festival of Thrills from the calendar last year 😥

2 years ago today, I took a flying leap out of my comfort zone to meet a load of strangers I'd vaguely chatted to on the internet for my first theme park meet-up.

I couldn't be gladder that I did. I'm proud to be part of this hobby, and I love so many people that I've met through it ❣️🧡💛💚💙💜

My sister & I went to AT Oktoberfest. There was an actor who absolutely made our day with his antics geeing up the crowd. We nicknamed him "Oompah Nigel".

When my sister got a hamster, she named him Nigel.

Good Entertainment is something that makes a theme park more than just a collection of rides

Rocksteady making Batman: Arkham Sequel is possibly the only thing that would make me buy a new gen console at this point in my life. So much love for those games, especially City 🦇
