When it comes to DHS, we need to pay our TSA agents, and fully fund FEMA, the Coast Guard, and our cybersecurity. That’s exactly what the Senate unanimously agreed upon, but Speaker Johnson continues to refuse to let the House pass that bipartisan legislation or rein in or reform ICE and CBP.
Together, we must stand against such a purely partisan bill, while standing for funding for the TSA, FEMA, the Coast Guard, and our cybersecurity.
The One Big Beautiful Bill authorized $190 billion for DHS. Now, without any of the much-needed commonsensical reforms to ICE and CBP that I have called for, President Trump and Speaker Johnson are getting ready to pass a purely partisan bill that funnels tens of billions of dollars more to DHS.
