I'm so happy that Britt Lower and Trammell Tillman won Emmys for their performances on #Severance last night. Their wins were so well deserved. To me, they're the best among equals.
And I love that Britt wrote "LET ME OUT" on the back of her speech. So geeky, so iconic.

Well, at least the voters taught Biden a lesson
CBS is dead to me as a network. It's obviously under fascist control.
Stephen Colbert's voice deserves to be heard. Real capitalists would keep it on air because it's highly rated.
Canceling Colbert and The Late Show was done for political reasons. #RejectCBS #CancelCBS
He's a Newsmax comment section that came to life and got elected president of the United States.
😠😡🤬

It's not safe for a woman who is pregnant, or who thinks she even may be pregnant, to travel to any state with "life begins at conception" laws. It could mean dying of sepsis from a pregnancy complication, or it could lead to something like what I talked about above.
This is cruel and barbaric. How can this possibly be considered abortion? This woman has died. There's no brain function. Without multiple forms of life support--heck, without one of them--the body she once resided in would cease to function.
How is that even a question of abortion? At that point, you're using what's essentially a dead woman as an incubator.
This is never something that's only been done close to that amount of time once, in Germany, as a choice, and with complications. This fetus has fluid on the brain at 21 weeks.
I probably should have said draconian anti-abortion laws.
Currently, Georgia is keeping a brain-dead woman who became so while pregnant on life support. She 'died' when she was about 7/8 weeks pregnant. They're charging her family for this but given her no choice to take her off life support.
George Wendt died yesterday. You may know him better as Norm(!) from Cheers, which is still one of my favorite sitcoms of all time. Rest in peace, George.
And for those of you who partake, have a pint in his honor.
TWD filmed there too for the same reason.
They shouldn't continue to do that, however, because of Georgia's draconian abortion laws.
If you want movies made in America, tariffs aren't the answer. US productions have increasingly filmed in Canada and other countries because they offer tax incentives and cash rebates.
In fact, several US states have moved to offer such things on their own with great success.
Bunny, bunny. 🐰🐇
Morning Bluesky.
Mark Carney’s Liberal Party has won the Canadian election, but it’s still too early to tell if he can form a majority government.
The Conservatives outperformed their polling but leader Pierre Poilievre may still lose his Ottawa seat.
This is a reminder of the extraordinary Trump effect on the Canadian election.
Liberal candidate is nearly 4000 votes ahead with only two polling stations remaining
CBC finally calls Carleton - the Canadian Tory leader Pierre Poilievre has lost his own seat
Congratulations, Canada! 🇨🇦
His wife, his brother, and 11 or so unknown others ….
Where are the “but her emails” vultures when national security is actually being compromised?
Paging super sleuth James Comey too! 🤦🏽♀️
apnews.com/article/hegs... Hegseth had a second Signal chat where he shared details of Yemen strike
This year’s White House Easter egg roll featured Pete Hegseth, voice cracking, in a state of extreme panic — desperately blaming the media and his own appointees for his latest scandals.
The inescapable fact is, reckless Hegseth has been exposed by members of his inner circle.
Former top…
It's just a matter of time until Pete Hegseth gets Americans killed, if he hasn't already. And by "Americans," I don't just mean members of the military. He's a danger to all of us.
Pope Francis: “I would like all of us to hope anew and to revive our trust in others, including those who are different than ourselves, or who come from distant lands, bringing unfamiliar customs, ways of life and ideas! For all of us are children of God!"
In Pope Francis’s last public address, he preached care of the marginalized, the vulnerable, and migrants, saying: “I would like all of us to hope anew and to revive our trust in others, including those who are different than ourselves.” May we heed his wish.
The Supreme Court ruled that the Trump admin must facilitate the return of SMART Union Local 100 apprentice Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
They need to quit wasting time and bring our union brother home NOW!
Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a member of SMART Union Local 100, a union for "Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers."
Trump is attacking the same workers doing the sort of jobs he says he wants to "bring back."
The entire labor movement needs to rally in defense.
This is much unlike Columbia, which is in the process of capitulating to all of the Trump administration's demands.
Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd 100% take a 3rd George W. Bush term over this.
I finished S3 of Yellowjackets -- almost in one stretch, but I did take a nap.
That was a definite improvement over S2, although it was still missing the humor of the first season. Christina Ricci's wacky Misty needs someone like Juliette Lewis's sarcastic Natalie to bounce off of.
Not a single time in this article glorifying the need for sprawl to address the US's affordable housing crisis is there a mention of the vast transportation costs of sprawling living patterns. Nor is there mention of the fact that sprawl is directly linked to disinvestment in urban cores.
