Season 2 starts now with guests Bob Boilen and Michael Barron!! Before NPR’s Tiny Desk Concerts, there was Tiny Desk Unit- a boundary-breaking art-rock band that helped define DC’s creative underground. Diving into their s/t 1980 release.
DC documentary filmmaker Christoph Green created a bold series called "FLUX." The show is about the lives of trans people.
He commissioned me to score the series. The series is excellent and unflinching, sometimes inspiring, sometimes dark. It's also often entertaining and fun.
