After dying in that gas plant and then returning from the dead as a demon, Marcus can't age, he becomes immortal. But seeing his human companions (Boris, Remo, Jacob, Kyle, Gideon) getting older, makes him worried that he will lose them one day but knows he will see them in the afterlife as spirits.

Michael The Architect from The Good Place sitcom series. I wanted to give my interpretation of Michael's demon form that he described in one episode (being a 6,000 foot tall fire squid with a lot of teeth, a kind of eldritch creature if I'm honest) in the series he only describes his real form but we never see him turn into that form or just a flashback so that was my motivation to draw him representing a bit of that transformation.

Been trying to give a change of peace.
Every tentacle is taking some time since I am drawing everything bit by bit (I'm in the Bad Place with this 🫠).
