I can probably forgive a donation for Minnesota in the name of charity but let it be known, we are taking back The Axe.

I love Brian De Palma movies, I love Mission: Impossible 1, and I'm a giant dork-ass, so I was beside myself when I found this new on ebay

$63.97 + fees in honor of Ron Dayne's career collegiate rushing record at Wisconsin, which SHOULD include bowl games but does not for obscure record-keeping purposes.

If the NFL can’t determine whether an official is competent after three seasons and roughly 50 games, what exactly is the officiating department doing??

I forget who first coined it but “the revolt of the bosses” sums it up perfectly

the power that labor held in the remote work era was existentially terrifying to them and every move they have made since has been designed to crush it and instill fear across the workforce

This composition had eluded me for nearly a decade, but yesterday I was finally able to capture it. A train rolled through just as the Duquesne Incline was crossing over the tracks in #Pittsburgh, creating a picture perfect winter scene. It was worth the hours and hours I've waited over the years.

Happy May 1st. The value of your labor belongs to you and the actions of the state are best understood as as a coordinated effort to distract you from this. The state fears an organized and unified proletariat like it fears death and rightly so. Power to the workers and power to the people

Speaking of archives, were you ever able to dig up any clips of James Earl Jones's recordings for the CPSC hotline?

To Delegates of the Italian Confederation of Workers' Unions (Cisl) (28 June 2017) | Francis To Delegates of the Italian Confederation of Workers' Unions (Cisl) (28 June 2017)

A sad day. I return to Pope Francis' 2017 address to Italian trade unionists often, especially his call for unions to be both a prophetic voice in society, and vigilant watchmen at the walls of the city of work. www.vatican.va/content/fran...

That’s what is known as a bargaining unit status (BUS) code. It identifies whether or not someone is *eligible* to be in a union, not whether they actually pay dues and are union members. 8888 = management, 7777 = eligible but no union exists, any other 4-digit number = bargaining unit ID
