Yeah, Hogan movies were... different π
The first Gremlins has some pretty scary moments.

Not sure if I've seen that one
That horrifying black rabbit apparition during the trippy finale in Watership down... π¬
Not to mention the brutal fight under the tree.
I was around 8 or 9(?) when I saw that movie on saturday's children's programming.
Because of course, animated=for kids in the 90s π
Hey, @sinclairlore.bsky.social
I know, in Canada you have milk in bags, so you might like this...
Behold: Currywurst in a tube.
Kind of a staple in german supermarkets for certain veggies, soups, stews, etc., but I actually never tried it before. Wish me luck.
Watership Down, Felidae and Terminator 2 were those who left the most vivid memories.
GPS failed and the ship took a wrong turn.
Rumour has it, it's still driving in circles somewhere off the coast of Madagascar.

You should be fine as long as you don't hear disembodied childrens' voices singing an off-tune nursery rhyme.
Still, wouldn't go there after dark. Or during full moon. Definitely don't have your 7th visit anywhere near the solstice.
Already hyped for it.
(I asked my partner to get me one for my birthday)

So...uh... I painted another Mind's Horizon cover (I also painted another one before this and after the first one I revealed at the beginning of January, but let's not talk about that)!
Yes, I know, I'm insane. But, shit, look at the results!
Should be hitting stores sometime over the weekend!
That's a good one π
Yes, nap-time is wonderful.
Me:
I'm not gonna buy more books, I have a mountain-sized backlog already.
Me, a few days later:
*buys 15 full-length novels in two omnibus editions and three unabridged audiobooks

I'll be definitely looking forward to part three π
It fits well with the Suleniar covers in my opinion. Especially with Fall of Ara'ka.
Kinda like a wireframe or 'struck by lightning/eldritch energy' version.
Like looking at the astral lands from different planes of existence/frames of reference/natural laws.
Personally, I like the '22 version best, it just looks so surreal and disconcerting.
'25 is second, with its "nice" vibes of a claustrophobic descent down a tunnel into the unknown.
Nice ππ
Book 3 you say? π€©
My newest invention:
The Stavelβ’ (stake+shovel)
For when those pesky snow-vampires attack while you're clearing your driveway.
Pro tip: Once those suckers turn to ash, use that on icy patches to prevent slipping. Saves you a ton of money on salt or sand.
My plans for NYE:
Eat way too much at the family raclette...
Reading and videogames...
Watch the neighbours burn money in a sparkly fashion for an hour...
More reading and games...
Go to sleep... Eventually...
Reasonable amount of cola+booze throughout.

Look at this toaster lamp.
LOOK AT IT!

People:
"Nobody knows what the 'T' in T. Rex stands for."
Me, an intellectual:
"Thorsten... Thorsten Rex." π¦
The first four volumes of the Sailor Moon Eternal Edition manga, and an axolotol plushie.
I was deliberating which manga to read next and decided to go for a childhood heroine.

Sitting at work, eating chocolate covered marshmallows.
There's a playground next to my workplace that gets remodeled at the moment.
Fresh sand, swings, shiny new slide, climbable wood hut on stilts and... a construction excavator that apparently just slammed into the hut earlier this morning.
Ah well, easy come, easy go, I guess...
Dang, that stuff's strong.
It makes me see a bottle in the shoe.
Shoe... Booze... Shooze... π₯΄
