Important thing about this offside isn’t the line, but that the freeze frame VAR used shows the ball already in motion!
If the tech doesn’t have the frame rate to capture the moment, then measuring the line is void, invalid.
PGMOL could at least use the freeze frame -1 to give attacker the advantage
At Kidderminster Harriers, who are managed by Phil Brown. A lot of astros around. Not many suede shoes.
Not seen anyone else say it, so I will: Fabianski should be sent off for punching Gabriel in the face. Serious foul play: “endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality “
Cheers mate!

Had they played the game at the same level as minutes 35-45, they would have had a good chance. But yeah they're really not at the required level. Still, one of those weird games where I'm left disappointed by the winning team
Leicester put in a 7.5/10 performance today and they probably win...
Both teams have been poor today. Leicester have barely shown up and I'd argue Maresca's dtrange 3-1-5-1 formation just hasn't worked. Chelsea are winning because they have better players - but they've been well below their best.
Ankle-breaker from Ndidi. VAR relaly should have turned that into a red card.
Terrible defending from Leicester for that goal. Hermansen kicking it long from a GK, after calling his CBs short, is what plays Jackson onside when the ball comes back... dreadful all round.
Never normally do the whole “spoke well I thought” about new managers, mostly because @footballcliches.bsky.social lives rent free, but this Amorim interview is genuinely noteworthy.
Shades of early Klopp in his openness and clarity describing his ideas.

Hey Phillipe can I get added to this? Thanks
The most impressive thing about Foden last night wasn’t the goals, but the way he solved Villa’s formation in the second half. Tactical analysis of his movement here:

I think that’s the most I’ve ever seen a Guardiola team dominated over 45 minutes. Exceptional from Aston Villa. A fraction better in the box and they could be 3-0 up.
