I accidentally bought _whole_ canned tomatoes for the manicotti instead of _crushed_ tomatoes. I'm old enough to remember when there were no immersion blenders & this would've been a consternating problem. I never cook on weekdays so this is feeling kind of amazing. 🍅

Same. We had the additional distraction today of an HVAC tech visiting. Kitty girls were flopping ecstatically on his feet, then running around and chasing each other. They're just happy little beings.

Was not as "productive" during work hours as late capitalist society would like me to be. However I generally know how to go about solving my work problems, such as they are, so trying to focus on pieces of the next little work problem was easier than <waves hands.>

One thing you can do with your end-of-the-world anxiety is to find someone in your community who needs help and help them. You may not be able to do anything about The Big Problems rn, but you can help someone to solve their problem rn.
