It Takes a War and Acolyte are taking part in #InterfaceX26 - a steam showcase for games that play with a fakeOS or similar meta features.
Some mad innovation and novel narrative in this space.

pragmata is genius for capcom because the girl comes pre-yassified so dlss 5 will look great on it
np at all, you're nailing it!
absolutely loving these, I know you've made similar videos for other places over the years (which I've also very much enjoyed) but this particular run feels like a perfect blend of old school/new school games youtubing sensibilities
all so he could sell some outdated novelty meme shirts.... this freakin guy....
Okay so you might see this video with the audio muted. Now imagine how the music must sound like. I urge you to unmute and listen to what it's actually like because I guarantee you you're not prepared for it.
i was gonna sell turnips today but nook is remodelling so they're going to spoil. my investment portfolio is in shambles
i'm at a new place called "the cinema". there's a massive telly in here. have you guys heard of this stuff?
goty incoming
resetti! he's in all of them - instilled saving trauma in me from a young age...
been playing the original Animal Crossing for the first time on the AYN Thor and I love how horrible the villagers are willing to be. I think the extra hostility makes for a more lived in village feel. rude neighbours are real!
a long long time ago - I doubt he would even remember the conversation - I had dinner with nick offerman, and despite being a non-gamer he very kindly asked about "THE CORRIDOR" saying he was always interested in the medium. when we need to cast The Button in live action I know just the man.
isn't that basically what programming is anyway
thank you ๐๐
when the mario odyssey movie drops I want a lifesize statue of a human male being possessed by cappy, it's only fair
omg I thought it was only bigger because it also had the chair etc I didn't realise it was actually scaled bigger, the size compared to zelda there is comedic in a great way
once got a five letter code that was GNOME and I cheered
making a narrative game and adding a skip cutscene button that just starts the credits
500 reviews! Thanks to everybody that has taken the time to tell us how bad the shooting is in It Takes a War โค๏ธ
That said, I also think yeah, once you're selling something you're open to reviews, so I'm glad at least some outlets didn't wait. People need to know what they're buying! [3/3]
...but I think the reality we live in is that editors don't have the funds to pay reviewers to do multiple/updated reviews for the same game. I think the compromise here is that Bungie basically said "your review will be far more useful going forward if you wait till this big thing drops". [2/3]
I think I agree that it's okay for them to *ask* but also that it's totally okay for reviewers to totally disregard said request.
In an ideal world, reviews for live service games would be updated regularly as updates change the game... [1/3]
happy to give as many steam codes as you need for either of my games :)
your art getting analysed by people you massively respect will never get old!!
YES!
prawn cocktail!!!
honestly fairly against the lighting tech as well - if you look at say, the comparison at 3:51, the lighting might be more "technically accurate" but it also totally changes the colour palette, mood, and lighting setup. can't imagine environment artists love that
this is atrocious and anti-art
i'm of the opinion that unreal does a really bad job of advertising you can make an entire game in ue without a single line of code. pretty much 100% of both the corridor and it takes a war are blueprints too.
love games so I do so I do
