The constant cycle of battling these awful laws is exhausting and a transparent attack on how most people communicate now. The internet has amplified the power of communication and it scares those who wish to control the masses.
Free speech needs to include access and anonymity online. It must be codified in any nation that considers itself free. Online speech is just as or possibly more important now as written or verbal speech. Without these protections we will constantly be fighting censorship and surveillance forever.

I can't even begin to dismantle the mental gymnastics required to invent the person who "becomes trans" to compete in sports. There's so much misrepresentation and so mant bad faith arguments involved it basically requires complete suspension of disbelief.
People seriously think people are undergoing hrt and surgeries to try and get an upper hand in sports, it's full on delusion. They ignore the fact that estrogen literally reduces muscle mass and strength, and chance ligaments, and tendons. It also reduces hemoglobin levels affecting endurance.
You don't think the current us administration, and many other anti-trans developments world wide have anything to do with this decision?
